We are thrilled to continue hosting DFD-Interact sessions this year to enhance your science experience during the APS DFD Annual Meeting 2026.
DFD-Interact session format
DFD-Interact combines the benefits of an oral talk with the one-on-one interactivity of an ePoster presentation. DFD-Interact sessions are designed to foster in-depth interactions with research and broaden audiences for each presentation. This format combines a two-minute oral presentation with follow-up ePoster engagement alongside other topic-affiliated ePosters in a compact session.Interact sessions will be scheduled on Sunday, a prime time slot in the DFD program when the majority of conference attendees are present, providing presenters with increased visibility and opportunities for engagement with the broader fluids community.
Note: Interact participation is opt-in for DFD26. However, by selecting an Oral/Poster presentation type, your submission may still be selected by DFD organizers if it is especially well-suited for an Interact session due to broad community interest, scientific impact, or alignment with the goals of the format. Authors selected for Interact sessions will be notified in early September.
